Maggie, that's so funny lol

O.h. is forever mislaying things, the times I have had to hunt for his specs, have found them in the greenhouse, on the compost bin, and all over the place. Keys are another thing, I put a small bowl on the shelf inside the door (not where thieves can reach with a wire coathanger) and said "As you come in, stick the car key in there, and leave the house keys on the inside of the lock." Does he do it? - of course not, it's far too simple. Most times I have to look everywhere for the car key which he won't keep on his house key bunch, as I do.

He lost the battery out of his phone a few weeks ago, couldn't understand how he had done so. I went into the greenhouse a few days later and spilled some water on the gravel as I was watering plants in there. I noticed something shining in the gravel that was unusual, sort of dark rectangular shape, yes his phone battery. He uses the greenhouse as a phone booth as we can't get good signals in the house and it's too cold or wet to stand outside and chat, hence the greenhouse gets used. Why he took the battery out I don't know, the back was still on the phone indoors and he had tried charging it up and wondered why it wouldn't charge, realised the phone felt light and opened it in the kitchen to find no battery!

Of course I picked up the damp battery and dried it off but it swelled up a few days later and the back of the phone wouldn't fit back on, so it cost him a new battery. Dozy idiot lol!
