Why don't you get on to the talktalk help line?I know you have to wait,but I have found them extremely helpful.I have wireless and Oh has lap top downstairs and the router is upstairs and he can't get up the stairs so I have to do the calling,and I say...please be patient with me as I'm not a youngster...and believe me ,the Indian folk I speak to are so polite.
It doen't cost anything but the time you have to wait .

I haven't been able to log in to my e-mails for over 6 weeks now!
My account was 'disabled' after they bought the paying date forward (and I didn't know, as was camping when I was informed)- and bank b*llsed up too so bill wasn't paid.
I paid the bill and phoned up - to be told my account would be active within 3 - 72 hours!!
I can still access my account though!
I resent having to phone up - it's bl**dy expensive. I'll try getting on at work to see if it's my computer!

Hi Mark

I've just logged on through their website without any problems - it seems as though it's something with your computer that's causing the problem.

Presumably you have a firewall and other security on your pc, these might need the settings changed.......other than that I can't really suggest anything else, sorry. :-(((

Hopefully someone else might come along and suggest something for you.

I am also with Tiscali/Talktalk........and I too had problems with emails last week while they were upgrading the whole system.......but mine all seems okay now.

If it's working okay on another computer it sounds as though it's something to do with the settings on your computer. Do you use Outlook Express for your emails or do you log in via the website?

Ok ...so when Tiscali and TALKTALK Merged ... i thought nothing of it i am happy with the service ...until the last few weeks that is.... i am still not able to log onto my emails ... from home that is ... i went into our local library today to do something and just thought i would see if i could log on and Hey Presto IT WORKS.....so i go home after finishing my shopping and log on .......... Nothing .......Any suggestions
