Try the findmypast site. Click on Military and scroll down you will see servive marriages. He would have been in the forces when he was 18 probably. |

Hello Dee, Thanks for the information. I did know his military history and suspect you are right, he never married, but one of my relatives had an inkling that he had married and had a child. |

Looking for descendants, if any, of Joseph Gerrard, born 1896, possibly in Islington area, London. He was killed in 1917 in the First World War. He had brothers named Edward, Jim, George and Albert; sisters Sarah, May (my mother) and others, whose names I can't remember. Joe's parents were Edward Gerrard and Louise Gerrard (nee Wickes) . |
