Fireworks can be let off ALL night on bonfire night.

However, as it is now -oh - November 7th, I'm seriously thinking of reporting a gross noise nuisance.

I've put up with being unable to hear either the radio or television properly since I got home at 5pm. There was a massive explosion at 9:30, which I hoped was the last, but nooooo.
Another plonker started at 10pm, and there have been 4 more lots of explosions since 11pm - when they're supposed to stop!

One of my cats is now a poodle appreciation act - she's been in the cupboard under the stairs pulling her fur out!

Do some men associate the amount of noise their fireworks make to the size of their todger?

Aww Maggie your poor puss. Hopefully with the weekend just about over all the noise should stop.

It was chucking down rain on Fri night so I expect people put off till Sat.
Our neighbour came to our door to warn us that they would be putting some off. My cat for some reason doesnt mind them. she sits on window and watches them lol.Yet she is a very nervous cat who runs if the door bell goes or door opens.Any sudden noises and she's off.
The best way to treat animals is not make a fuss when they do go off.

I hope your cat is ok now Maggie.

I don't make a fuss, just open the door to the cupboard under the stairs - which is in the living room! LOL
The other two cats were a little nervous, but stayed in the living room with me.
Betty, (the nervous one) came out at abut 9:30- just as the loudest of the night went off. She did a 'comedy' run on the spot (laminate floor) as she desperately tried to turn around and retreat back into the cupboard- which set the other 2 off - I had 3 very distressed cats frantically trying to find a 'safe' place.

Betty's okay now - apart from, as mentioned earlier, her resemblance to a badly cut poodle. Why is it the long haired cat that's nervous?

Maybe she got a fright and it scarred her for life lol.
I feel sorry for the animals having to put up with the noise.Wild,farm and animals outside ie rabbits etc.
Shortage of money and yet so much goes up in smoke.
