a man of iraqi description was just beside us looking at boys wear, and stopped bent down to grandaughters height and said argh shes just right for my son, me thinking he meant to get size idea for clothes he was purchasing, said 3-4 year old?

OMG ......this world is going to the dogs

You are right to contact the shop and see if you can view CCTV but I bet there will be some stupid thing like it isnt turned on ...or only the Police can ...

Contact the Police like Ice has said ..

I used reins until my son was almost school age(4). There are some good modern equivalents and I cant understand why more do not use them . Saves a small chid having to walk about with its arm in the air for a painfully long time.

I find it amazing that so many people let young children run off from them in busy shops or streets, they would be the first to weep and wail if something happened but why don't they take more care?
Another thing that upsets me is that even if holding a toddler's hand they let them walk nearest the road, it's a bit like the old tradition of men walking on the outside so women didn't get splashed by vehicles going by and going through water on the roads, but a car mounting a pavement in an accident will take the toddler down first and they will stand no chance whereas an adult being hit first could save the child's life.
It only takes a little bit of thought and common sense.

hi folks,
well the out come was , marks and spencer asked me to phone , i did, gave um discription of the bloke, and they said they couldnt really view cctv, cos its trained on checkouts,!!!!!!! dont knjow why wen thefts arent gona happen at checkouts,
she did say best to phone police, (but knowing the police round yer, they wont respond and wont wana know cos no crime was commited,)
M&S lady did say she would alert security to keep eye on these areas, (kidswear,) and in perticular for man fitting discription,
he was distinktive,
and i had to watch what i said for fear of sounding racist,
but he was unkempt,
did look iraqi or pakistan

was wearing hat with peak wollen and a bandana underneath, green in colour
