i have one Rose its alright
but you have to remember to empty the drip tray

i had one n found them ok, except i somtimes forgot to empty it n it would leak, but it has a red light on to let you know when its full, x

Rose got rid of mine as l found it took so long to dry the clothes compare to the ordinary one.

Thanks ladies,I've always had a vented drier before but now we're here we have a washing machine already in but no space for a drier without losing needed cupboards.
I don't like combined washer/driers so a condenser seems the better option.

Been trying to dry on the line, but it is really too damp at this time of year.

I have one and use the water from the tray in my iron. I like it. You can have it plumbed in so you don't need to keep emptying the tray. I have an indesit, my mum has a Bosch. The Bosch is better but more expensive

That's a good idea TootyFruity, I have a steam iron so that would be useful. :)

My sister has got a condenser and loves it.

I did get a condenser but hated it and took it back to the shop and went back to the old vented type that I'd always had......maybe I'm just too lazy to want to bother emptying the water tray after each use LOL

The condensers are more expensive to run than the vented ones and also seem to take longer to dry the stuff.

dont buy a White Knight model,,
they whinge and whine and whistle,,,my dau had one for 2 weeks and traded it in,,it took hours to dry washing,,

I have Gorenji ,german make and its fab no creasing 10 min cooling off ,plumbed into outside wall,,had other makes over time but this is sure the best,solid.cant hear it when its going.and never been repaired in 9 years.as nothings ever gone wrong.

Ah, Kay lol I was just looking at White Knight, mainly because of the price but also because the WK drier and washing machines I had were so good and lasted longer than average.

well her next door neighbour moaned about the noise it made so it was moved to outside and still it whistled,,,that was a condenser,,
she has same as me,,,and never been any bother.

Ive had lots of models but ths one has been the best...its insides are built like a tank..}}}}

i have a Zanussi condenser one which is kept in the shed
i have had it since 2001 so 9 yrs now and i would'nt be without it
it has a low heat for woolens and anything delicate and a hot dry for other things, it's been the best buy for me .

I have a hotpoint one, I find the house doesn't get so dusty with a condenser much better .
But saying that I have an ordinary one in the shed wich to be truthful I much prefer as it doesn't take as long to dry clothes.
