Hope you are okay.

Terrence Steven "Steve" McQueen passed away on this day, 30 years ago.

He was nicknamed "The King of Cool and was one of the top box-office draws of the 1960s and 1970s. He received an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Sand Pebbles.

Other popular films include The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Thomas Crown Affair, Bullitt, The Getaway, Papillon, and The Towering Inferno. In 1974, he became the highest-paid movie star in the world.

He was an avid racer of both motorcycles and cars.

RIP Mr Steve McQueen

Should have known you would put this up Elizabeth........I remember you being a huge Steve McQueen fan from Pams film thread...


Can`t believe it was 30 years ago.... a great actor, and he died so young....

There are very few interviews or Tv apperances with Steve McQueen.

However, on Youtube, if you type in whats my line, then steve McQueen, he is the mystery guest on the US TV show where the panel try to identify the name of the mystery guest.

Who could forget his brilliant acting in " Papillon".......that was genius for it's time
