This morning on local radio news, the first road closure of the year. Yes you've guessed it , due to SNOW. The Buxton to Macclesfield road, the Cat and Fiddle, has been closed because the driving conditions are so bad due to 2/3 inches of snow, and 10 lorries cannot get up it. Though this road is regularly closed in the winter, because of hazardous conditions, it has not been know as early as the beginning of November.
Brr, is this a sign of things to come. Is it an omen

Morning Joy, yes it is very chilly and wet and windy here also. We are about midway down the county, so, let's hope the snow does not come our way.
Glad you all had a good time at the Newcastle meet.
Speaks soon

Just heard on the lunch time news on the radio, although the road is open now, more snow is forecasted for the Peak District. Down here, they have offered us only 6 degrees today. Brr.
Definitely a day to stay in. I am working on my Christmas Day Menu, and list of ingredients to get. Think it will be an early knitting afternoon today, after lunch. LOLOL
