Wow thanks for all that Ice Ice, I'll be able to renew by cheque now. I'd miss coming on here to search for my rellies. I've only recently "discovered" the chat board & although I don't usually contribute I do like to keep up with all your different topics & discussions. You're all a bit like one happy family bouncing off each other & offering support. I feel a lot better for coming on here today as I was so upset I just needed someone to talk to without having to speak, if you know what I mean. You've all been very helpful, thank you all for your kind words. x |

Just a thought, do you pay for petrol using your card? They could have had your details from before the weekend so not necessarily the on line purchase. |

Thanks Ann, I made a purchase online last weekend to a certain shoe company who we have nicknamed trotters! I initially had problems paying the money & they took the payment five times. I had that all sorted out by Friday & spent no money this weekend so was knocked sideways when checking my balance today to find everything gone. There must have been some irregularity with my security for this to have happened as I have had no problems before. I don't make many purchases online and have never used ebay so have tried to be sensible, but I don't think I'll be making any more payments online. My GR subs are due next month - does anyone know if they accept cheques. I don't suppose they do, if not I probably won't renew this time. |

Could have been that your card was cloned in a shop, or hole in the wall machine rather than hacked into over the net..It will still show on your online account as withdrawals. |

Thanks for your comments Ice Ice, the bank says all purchases made in States since Saturday. Taken it all almost down to last penny. I am always very careful when buying online & have Norton protection. Must have slipped through the net - ha ha bit of a pun there! It's just a case of waiting now until the fraud people get back to me & I get new cards. |

Some low life has just cleared out my bank account. This months salary & pension all gone almost before I could count it. I'm still shaking with the shock of it - it's never happened to me before. I still can't believe it. |
