Hello. Could anyone let me know if there was any newspaper coverage of a motorcycle accident which resulted in the the death of EDWARD CHARLES HOOPER, aged 19. He was the pillion passenger and was struck by a van driven by WILLIAM PHILIP STRIPE. The bike was being ridden by ALFRED ARCHIBALD BIRCH. The accident happened on, or around, 23rd September, 1925.

Edward died in Purley and District War Memorial Hospital, Croydon.

An inquest was heard on 30th November, 1925, in Croydon.

I have had a look around myself online, but as of yet had no luck.

This maybe a long shot Sean but try the Times newspaper(Archives).......

I had a Great Uncle who was killed in a fire from Manchester......

I was given this tip on here and low and behold there was a piece published in the Times......

Depending on the size of the article you may have to pay..........
