A while ago, perhaps last Rememberance DAy there were several poems posted on a thead, one was about a child asking it's Mother why we wear poppies, I can't remember the words, can anyone else.? My 9 year old gt. Granddaughter was asking the same question last weekend after visiting an arboratorum (sp)somewhere in Lancashire with her paternal grandmother to [place a poppy in memory of her late paternal grandfather.Can anyone help, please. May. |
