Some of you guys, know that I am a cat lover, and love all felines!!

Tonight, however, I heard a distressed wailing sound, coming from our kitchen!( realise now that I have left window slightly ajar!)

There was our Tom, being faced up to, by an unknown grey cat, whom I have never saw before!!.

I managed to get our Tom into the lounge, and close the door, before shooowing stranger , out of the door!!

I opened the door abour 5 miunutes later, to allow our Tom to go out again, and said grey cat, was sitting at bottom of out stair!!

Any one else been in a similar situation??

Gail.

I've got 3 cats - and 2 large cats (one is definitely a stray) who regularly come in through the cat flap and eat their food!
I say the 2 come in - they actually fight each other - the stray - a ginger cat- usually wins.
He was in a terrible state when I first saw him in my garden. Cat's protection league tried to catch him - but he's very smart, and can disappear for days on end.
Now, after a few months of eating my cat's left overs (and there can be a lot!) he's looking a lot better.
Strangely, he doesn't attack my cats - unlike the other one, and after just a few tumblers of water thrown by me over him, (I don't want to encourage him) he has the manners to 'disappear' when I'm around!

If I were you, I'd have some water ready by the back door, ready to throw at the interloper! As the weather gets colder - wet is the last thing he'd want to be!! LOL

There's room in my easily accessible shed for him to sleep in.
He gets plenty to eat in my house too! He even polished off a bird one of my cats caught.
When I first saw him, he looked like he'd been in a big fight and was quite skinny. Now he's plump and glossy, all scabs and sores have healed.
As I said, the Cats Protection league haven't managed to catch him, and he seems to be thriving now.
He can haunt my garden/kitchen as long as he doesn't attack my (woosy) cats - and it seems he's protecting them by keeping other cats out of the garden!!
Have to admit, if I didn't have any cats - he'd be more than welcome.
