Joan good point about the fruit thankyou you have saved me from a mistake I think. Will have to re-think the meal.

Do as Joan says, microwave fruit then bake with crumble on top in oven.

Chris I will do that but need to know how long to put in slow cook for 1st.

Joan I used to do Bread and butter great in the slow cooker, until the last time, but that could have been the cooker being old or me trying a new recipe.
I roast in my slow cook so I am sure I should be able to cook a crumble in it, I know there are recipes on the net but they all seem to have oats in them and I just want a plain crumble

edit to say I would finish it in the oven but can't cook it in there as I need the oven to cook the rest of the meal !!

Has anybody done this in a slow cooker, after my disaster with the bread pudding when I killed my cooker I am nervous of this lol
Okay I know the basic crumble method but has anybody cooked it in a slow cooker if so
did you cook any before hand
how long did you cook it for
