Man killed by a bull.

Yes and frightening for walkers like me who are already wary of heifers and bulls!!

You can't keep a dairy bull in a field with a footpath but you can keep a beef bull.

I never quite trust heifers.Skittish and easily led astray.
Apparently it was getting dark so they may have been spooked by the movement.

Very sad whatever.

Probably the bull was protecting the heifers. I wonder if there was a notice posted warning of a bull in the field. Did it say which breed it was. I believe that some bulls are more likely to attack than others.

Very sadly, it is reported that a man has been killed by a bull in Leicestershire. It seems he was on a footpath in a field with a bull and a group of heifers. The bull has been destroyed, for behaving like a bull!
I am wondering a little if it was the bull or a couple of lairy heifers. Whatever,the bull took the rap and his injured wife is devastated.My sympathy to them.
