Luckily most of us are alert to these scams asking for details. Just never give details over the net unless you are buying and have instigated the request. Anti virus will not usually pick up a scam unless there is a virus in it. That one will not have had a virus but once you gave your information your pc would be hacked into. Or your bank account if that is what they asked for. But thanks for the alert we will all be on our guard now. |
