I didn't know anything about this as I was at work!
Were we able to view the 1911 Census?
If so, I'm very disappointed!

Yes, 1911 was available too. Unfortunately not the full page returns that are available elsewhere so, on the whole, I'm glad I was n't paying.

I'm new to this family research business, are you able to tell me a better site that I can join that will be better value to search records? I'm a gold member on this but half of the time I can't access the records I need... Also I'm not prepared to pay the extra money to become a platinum member to view the 1911!

What has been happening to the threads? Why change the name to Thread Participation., And rearrange the reply box and alter the way that time of posting is shown. Change for change sake and justifying their jobs it seems to me. If it aint broke why fix it?

Chevaun, full page census returns are available at "find my past" which also has some useful military records.
I think the general consensus is that "Ancestry.co.uk" is the best all round site though. In my own opinion it is certainly the best, I only rarely use my FMP membership now and will not be renewing it.
I think both do a two week trial but what limitations there are on what you can view you will need to check.
