I have about six or seven of the books that were on the list - plus I have read The Poet when it was new.

We have more books than shelves and we have a lot of shelves and still I keep using the library as well.

I still have a collection from when I owned the secondhand bookshop plus I can't resist checking out our op shops (opportunity as in charity). On the way to Wellington recently I found two old Rosie Thomases at a secondhand book store. These places are little treasures....

Have read Accidental Time Traveller and your right Ann it was a very easy read.

Managed to get both the Last Templar and Nineteen Minutes from the library so I'm really happy. Checked on where I was in the list for the Red Queen from last time and I'm 84th! I think it will be out in paperback before my turn comes round and then I will by it.

about 35 of them are my daughters, the rest have been bought or were presents over a few years, from when I was working to now. A lot of them will be charity shop or book stall buys.

Do you buy all the books, Ann?

Cross stitch is a great book as are the others in the series, if a bit long. I have the last one here waiting to be read (one of the 131).

I have just listed all the books I have waiting to be read here. There are 131. I really should give up Greaders and concentrate on the books I have but, thinking about it, unless somebody else is will ing to take Greaders on, I will continue. But will if it is OK with everyone I will just read one book each time while I try and clear a few of my books.

I will actually read two books this time though because I have them.

Went to get it and couldn't find it so asked Librarian and it was in the Recommended Reading section. So must be good!!!

I think I will be okay with it, it mentions if you like Life On Mars you will like this book and I thoroughly enjoyed the Brit's version of Life On Mars.
The fact that she has gone back and not forward appeals to me.

I will keep my eye on the libraries for Nineteen Minutes - sometimes it is a bit like Russian Roulette.

I think I have read Anne Tyler's book... Cross Stitch is around somewhere my OH reckons her name should be Gabbled On - we started to listen
to her give a talk on radio and she talked so fast we could not keep up with her.

I am actually reading the Accidental Time traveller and it is quite a good easy ready perse. If you then can't get Nineteen, read one of the other books that had a vote, your choice.

The Last Templar written by Raymond Khoury ( a Lebanese) - amongst all our libraries in the greater Auckland area there are only two copies. One is in Chinese and the other is in Korean, sorry but I am a bit rusty on both of these languages though I do hear them spoken as I go around our city. If I brush up on my Chinese, GR will probably not allow me to reivew in the language and I am not sure whether it is in Cantonese or Mandarin.

It took me a while to get Jodi Picoult's book last time and it looks like I am up against it again this time unless I travel miles out of my area. Her books are so popular the libraries have it but nearly every copy is out on loan.

Looks like I can get The Accidental Time Traveller - does not sound like me but I like a challenge.

Seen I think I found Nineteen Minutes in the local Library on-line catalogu (they've changed everything around on the website).

The Last Templar might be available on Interloan will check Monday
