I have sent many messages to GR members this year, and have had very few replies. Can anyone tell me how you find out if they are still subscribing to the site??? |

Thanks for telling me that - I reply to all the messages I get and try to help - perhaps GR should try to set up a system for those people who no longer subscribe, that would at least be some kind of help. Or at least let us be able to look at their trees. |

You don't have to subscribe to be a member on GR. In fact there are probably more Free Members on here than Standard Members (subscribed ones) Free Members can always reply to messages, so that is not the issue. |

Oh yes I check my "IN" and OUT" messages everyday, to see if they have been opened . By the way how do you become a free member? |

You just add your details to the site, but pay no subscription ie the £9:95 every six months/ yearly if an longer time member. |

Yes you are right Linda, other sites do have different records, I use a lot of them as well. On Ancestry it is possible to alter transcription errors, but I suppose I'll get over my frustration in due course. |
