Have just deleted messages in my inbox in GR, from2005 to 2008. That should quicken up my computer! Took some thinking about in case they were important. Saw some names from the boards which no longer post, too.

Jean, not sure that it will speed up your pc tho'. I think the message you see are held on their system not yours.

Jean....l've been doing simular. But l think Ann & Stray are right its on GR's system not yours!!

Jean have you cleared your temporary internet files, if they are clogged up that will slow your pc down.

all my messages have gone ....but they have left the ones about my family tree!!!
