PMSL Mau

The board name should read Cat...with a wiggly bit above the a but, like yours, it's gone a bit askew.

It makes the May Bank holiday a long weekend as the following Monday is a Bank Holiday too. Two long weekends in a row, nice!

Well, don't think we shall see much celebrating as we will be in Tenerife. Don't know though we could have a street party!!! And there are usually fireworks at weekends anyway. We fly home that weekend, hope security at Heathrow isn't too stupid.

Well traditionally May not a good month - Marry in May and rue the day!!!!! A lot will have depended on Queen's engagements etc yet think her diary is empty after Maundy Thursday for a week or two - hece this date.

Sue, they said Westminster Abbey. Plenty of time for me to think about me 'outfit', so long as I don't clash with me curtains.LOL

Hi Julia,
Do they know where it is to be.?
You had better start planning your outfit. :)

They were discussing this on 'This Morning' earlier but didn't say anything about a date having been confirmed. I find it unlikely that that date would be used for the reasons you have given.

Edit: just checked the BBC news website and it has been confirmed. That is a weird date.

Just heard on radio that this is the date sanctioned by the Cabinet for the date of the Roayal Wedding next year.
Easter is the previous weekend, so Easter Monday, and a day off for the wedding will fall in the same week.
Industry are really going to love that. A four day week the previous week, for Good Friday, and a three day week the following.
