Well the next best thing is getting Dan interested in cooking then Rose, and you would have to make the effort to eat or he would be upset. Why not try persuading him lol

Scones are summer foods, why not some nice fruit cake with cinnamon and such in, sort of early festive food and quite easy to make.

LOL Cat, that about sums it up :))

Liz, it won't tempt me to cook more, I don't really enjoy it, had to get used to gas, and now have to get used to electric again lol. I'm a 'picker' at food sadly, chocolate crisps, biccies :(

Well done Rose, hope you can repeat the experiment lol

A new cooker eh? Watch you don't get too carried away with tasty cooking and start to balloon, it's so easy in cold weather to want to eat more and fattening things too lol

Have fun

lol SRS, it was a fluke ;) but I did have the oil hot, which you're supposed to and I did measure the amount of milk and flour in the batter accurately which I haven't really done in the past.

Well done RR., we have just had dinner with yorkies supplied by a certain Aunt from the freezer!

I have never master the art and have given up on trying to make them.

My Mother in law does a mean yorkie, all crispy outside and fluffy inside.
