A few years ago, I was on a diabetic site, which was an offshoot of GR. Can't find it, and haven't a clue how to access it.

Both my son and I have type 2 diabetes. My son has been complaining of seams in his socks hurting his feet. I was going to post on the diabetic site, but am putting this on here.

Apart from going to the Doctor, has anyone any advice on comfortable socks, please.

It's more to do with the diabeties than the socks, some people with either sort of diabeties get sensitive soles to the feet ,others lose nearly ,if not all feeling ,try to find the lad seamless socks, and report the problem to the nurse at the doctors practice.Fred

I always wear sox [and knickers ] inside out , us diabetics are tender creatures and the tiniest injury can flare up and cause infection.
Our local chemist sells diabetic socks 100% cotton so they must be available online too.
