I can never have enough of the music. We have the DVD of the anniversary concert from the Albert Hall and will be buying this one. seen the stage production 4 times. Yes Island I think the film is to be of the musical.

My daughter and I went to see the 25th Anniversary tour last February in Manchester....we are both avid fans of Les Mis and have the 10th Anniversary DVD and CD also the CD of the 25th Anniversary production.

A couple of weeks ago we went with friends to see the film of the O2 concert at Vue Cinema, Cheshire Oaks and it was fantastic! I have to say it was slightly wierd not to be applauding however the cinema errupted at the end...especially when 4 Valjeans sang including Colm Wilkinson! Very emotional and still sniffled all the way through lol!

We had the CD on all the way home on full blast and you can only imagine what it sounded like with 5 of us singing at top voice!!

Loved the stage production Ann,but,for me,think a film could lose the atmosphere.

Yes Mau, I saw that. I wonder if it will be a s good as a film if you have seen the stage production. Not sure myself, it could become too involved.
