	The Standard February 07, 1885 A correspondent states that a pauper named William Fenwick, aged 78, has been removed from Chester-le-Street workhouse by a Sunderland solicitor, Fenwick, it is stated, being the heir to a fortune of 175,000l, besides landed estates at Benwell, Holmside, and other places.

	It is possible he may be one of mine, or of a member no longer on the boards. I will at some time look into it. I wonder how long he lived after his windfall?
