We awoke to deep snow which is pretty unusual here. While we were contemplating the best way to get my dad on the commode and dressed, which we don't normally have to do ourselves, the carers turned up,not much later than usual.

He couldn't go shopping yesterday. No, not due to a small inconvenience like snow. They were running a bus that didn't take wheelchairs.
