Well Hello everybody,

I know I haven't been on the boards much, okay so you haven't missed me either lol
Mind I have been popping my peepers in to see what has been going on.
So what kept me from the boards wellllllll pull up a bean bag grab a drink * help ya self they are on the side*

Well I have now moved ....no not completely *Shugger* . The reason for that was OH running into wild boar and writing the car off.......ever tried looking for another car when you don't have wheels and you have whacky work hours.
Yeah that's the other strange thing OH's work hours have changed and instead of working 6 nights he now does a mixture of days, nights and splits over FIVE DAYS yeahhhhhhh. means he's home more less internet time for me mind. *grins*
Also I now have a tele *wow* and it has amused me for a couple of months having a TV again ...
Sad that I am I have only really watched the Location programmes and absolutely adore Kirstie and Phil as they so make me laugh. Mind I can't resist Place in the Sun as I love looking at homes away ...wasn't Florida fantastic I want to move there !!! and .........coming up in January will be 'Business in the Sun' and Johnny gets to do Spain. I know this as they filmed where OH works earlier this week and because of ME *takes bow* OH knew who he was and what he did !
Told ya I was getting sad lol

We have had rain this week, lots of, which I know isn't a bonus to you all in the UK but was a nightmare for me at the time.(and the mutts).

Talking about the Mutts, I thought I had lost Asbo aka Minx a few weeks ago. She started off just by licking her lips and slobbering (she isn't a slobberer). Then she went rigid with her tongue hanging out and all but stopped breathing. We had no car to rush to the vet and even worse just having moved I couldn't lay my hands on the vets number, or some of my friends who have cars. ....She pulled through (thanks to OH). I first thought it was something she had scavanaged (bone) stuck in her throat as she brought blood up. I also worried if it was something plant wise she had eaten on my parcela ..always had my plants outside before I moved. ...I have to own up that I wouldn't have thought that except for a new plant I didn't know how to care for, so checked on the net..it's toxic !!! So that was lifted up and I lifted another 3 of my plants from the mutts,,,,,,,,,,,thankyou Wend.

So I won't bore you any more but just (well I will wave when I find it on this new keyboard !)

I did wonder where you had gone as well as a few others!! Glad to know that all is well apart from a few hiccups!!

I do find the quietness of the boards a bit strange also.

We are in Essex but havnt been hit as bad as some parts although it was a bit hair raising on the way to work this morning at 6am! It was fine on the way home.
Just got to get up and do it all over again in the morning and then weekend off, and as a bonus no uner 13 Football to stand and freeze at on Sunday.

Ah Uzzi, there you are - a light's gone on on the boards :-)) (joining a few other little twinklers.) I was wondering where you'd got to and was going to e-mail you to tell you that there was a slow cooker debate going on here and, with you being an expert in that field and all that - well, I thought, where is she, what's going on! ..... and there you've been all this time, lying about watching telly, when you were needed here. *Tut*

BIG snow here - we're all holed up and f f frfrfreezzzing. Be grateful you're where you are - it might be raining, but I bet it's not cold.

Teresa I have the joy of no snow and now under 13 football ..... see there is bliss in not being able to have children. (living in the sun is another lol )

Wend, well I did see the slow cooker thread and was going to tell my joys and tribulations of owning and loving one but hubby came home and other things got in the way lol
Hope ya doing okay ...painters palatte is thriving in the rain we have had. Will be fun next time we meet mind I just may have to book you in here on the site !!!!! lol
