I've just made chili, going to have it with baked potatoes after I've had my bath.

Edit: And a bottle of wine.

Our casserole was lovely, vic had 2nds and there is still some left:o)

Jean...our cooker should have gone back when it was fitted....it was'nt until then that we realised it was the wrong one. It should have had 2 ovens, small top one, which is the grill. But it was fitted whilst we were out and when we got back the fitter said what a hell of a job he'd had fitting it!!! l did'nt have the heart to say it was the wrong bloomin one...lol....plonkers are'nt we??

My new cooker has a slow oven function, and i used it for the first time when I had to go to the dentist for midday the other day. Left a chicken casserole to which i had added veg and half a tin of mushroom soup. It was really nice and the meat was tender.

Wouldn't mind joining any of you as all the food sounds lovely, and very warming.
We had Sausage, mash, swede and baked beans with onion gravy at lunchtime as hubby has already gone to work.

Enjoy everyone

Linda :o) XxX

Sounds yummy Jude.

Spag. bol. for us tonight - daughter's request.

I have just made a chicken stock for home made soup tomorrow, nearly 3 year old grandaughter is staying and she loves it. It is the only way I can get enough vegies into her because she will only eat brocolli (sp?) otherwise.

Put a casserole in the oven about 3pm. Braising steak, unions, baked beans, mushroom, tin toms, garlic, black pepper and mustard seeds....smells deliscious:o))
