Good luck with their venture!
Gemma may get a good response if she advertises herself as a female painter & decorator - many elderly people may prefer/feel safer with a woman.

The above link is for my daughter and her partners" try to be self employed" link.

Gemma was employed as a painter and decorator.....Working in a predominately male environment, she is met with positive responses.

Now unemployed, Gemma and her partner Francis, also a painter and decorator, are looking to tap into a niche in the market, as they are a male and female team.

Gemma and Francis, work/live in the Glasgow/Lanarkshire area .(Feel free to PM me, if the link fails, and you still think that you can help!! )
