Ancestry Shoebox

Hi Everyone. is anyone else having trouble moving around in their shoebox on Ancestry? This has been going on for a couple of weeks now at least and all Ancestry can say is that they know about the problem. I tried again just now to access something in my shoebox and nothing moved...... again!! Before I ring Ancestry yet again I thought I would ask if this is a general fault or just confined to me?

Hello Diana, I think someone mentioned it the other day. I think it's a problem with those who use internet explorer (according to the other thread). Have you tried using another browser like firefox for example?

I try not to use Internet Explorer for anything but haven't thought about why this should be. I wonder if the maintainance next week will help sort it out? It didn't used to be a problem and I hope we don't have to make huge changed to our set ups to accommodate this:(
I looked for another thread on this but obviously didn't go back far enough. Lets see what happens next week and if they fix it and if not what we can do ourselves to sort it out.

Hi again,

Well the maintainance on Monday didn't solve the situation and having just spoken to Ancestry Help I'm now going to down load Firefox as it is indeed a problem with Internet Explorer. Wish me luck!
