Hi everyone, I have posted the following in "General topics" as I'm not sure if I have posted in the right area, I am posting here as well.
I am at my wits end, I hope someone can help me.

While filling in names on my family tree, I accidentally clicked on add partner instead of add sibling, which has "married" 2 brothers. When I tried to delete and fix it, I am told that I can't delete because there are parents and siblings. So to fix the mistake I would have to delete the original part of the tree and start again. Is there any way I can fix this without deleting the whole line, as there a a lot of names to relist

Back when I started the only way was to write the word deleted to replace both names but leave the birth year., so it reads Deleted, deleted 1888 >save it . I think if you contact genes the can remove it.

If you cant correct the error Kirsten. Contact GR support, explain the problem & they'll be able to correct it for you.

I think if you have entered two brothers onto your tree you will not be able to delete the correct one as you have added a partner.
If you delete them in the correct order there shouldn't be a problem.
Try cancelling the 'partner' of the first brother. The system should accept that, then click onto 'add sibling' .-Jle
