Any ideas where we can buy Wellingtons in large sizes please?

Men's size 13 or 14 needed in case of more snow!

Many shoe shops tried and also garden centres, but they don't stock bigger than 12.

Would prefer to be able to try them on before buying as he has a high instep so may need the larger size.

Any ideas most welcome please.

Hi Gwyn
Do you live near any stores that stock safety equipment/supplies? boots, helmets, heavy waterproof coats etc.for industrial workers.
You should be able to buy large wellingtons there.

Thank you for the ideas.

Friend's OH used to work in construction, so I'll ask tomorrow where he bought footwear.
Will have another look in phone book too. I tried about 12 places by phone already besides actually visiting places, so will ring further afield.
Thanks.

Hope grandson's feet have stopped growing!!

Reminds me of some years ago when I was trying to buy my sons school shoes size 13. The shop assisstants looked at me like I was insane, lol.
He is 6ft 6inches tall, so what did they expect.
He now buys from BigFoot (online) and they are good but fairly expensive,
Good luck in your search,

Cath xx

Thanks Keith. Will tell daughter.

She managed to order winter boots via a website and they've arrived..... and FIT!
Most of our snow has gone, but boots will keep grandson's feet dry and warm anyhow.
Haven't got Wellingtons yet, but will continue search now travelling is easier here.

I have two grandsons who take size 14 and 15 they are about 6' 6" and are still at school. The school insists on proper shoes not trainers and my daughter is at her wits end. Elaine.
