It does improve Libby,

My Daughter was like that from 15-18ish
She is now comming up to 20 and much better, still has her "days" sometimes.

I think years 10 and 11 were worse, she got better towards the end of her two years at 6th form and is now 2nd year of uni, still living at home and much improved.

If its any help all her friends were the same and our house was a gathering place for them all, no wonder im grey under the brown. lol

Reminds me of OH when dau first married - he used to say 'you read the Kama Sutra - your mother and I wrote it'.

My Dad always used to say to me when I was giving my expert opinion at my daughters age " I have forgotten more than you will ever know". Think I know what he meant now. lol ...

My 16 year old daughter appears to know everything and has to have the last word.

Mmmmm..... memories. Seem to remember meeting a long lost Uncle saying to me " Oh yes. You'r the one with a good line in back chat".
