We've been saving GREEN BOTTLE tops for recycling. A friend does it in Doncaster and it has something to with wheelchairs......so l thought l'd look for something nearer to home.

If anyone is interested in the recycling process and what you can do, look at this site.....

The 2nd one is the only company that collects milk bottle tops (any colour, washed and no labels etc on) in the UK. l spoke to a lady just now very helpful.
l asked her abut the Wheelchair charities and she said to be very wary of them, check to see if they are registered!!!! Most times it is a scam!!!! SO I WILL be contacting friend to make sure she checks it out!!!

The GHS Recyling co will grind the plastic down and then sell it off to companys that make plastic toys, even slides etc. You can also see their list of charities where you want it to be donated to. BUT YOU HAVE to get the tops to them....as we live in Monmouth and if we want to continue we'll have to post them!!!!!

But it certainly is interesting to see what is collected by whom and what for:o)
