Ann, I know what you mean - I always think of myself as 38, slender, no wrinkles, no grey hairs and it is a shock when I pass especially the hall mirrow - it is in too good a light! Everything has gone south, spread east and west and the rest is wrinkled and grey but OH says he still loves me!!!!

Ah, Annina, you are experiencing the problem of what you did last year you cant this! I tried to dust the lampshade in the bathroom with a fluffy duster on a stick, but got covered in dust and started coughing. Other years have been able to damp dust as I was taught.
No room for tree, so decorations consist of cards which look quite showy all round the room.

im putting up he tree this weekend, like you christina my birthday was on the 4 dec and already have xmas and birthday cards side by side. but once the tree goes up oh will say take the b/cards down theres no room for them. not fair me says.

but now i am 21 again, i also feel like a bit of a break inbetween. after all the whole thing takes us all sat afternoon to do tree plusall my other little things. father christmas candles for the hearth and lots of ornaments to be placed around lounge. it sure does all take time.

so why not enjoy a cuppa halfway through and a piece of cake mmnnm!

Glad I am not alone then. finished it and it looks pretty but leaving the rest until tomorow. Just usually do the tree (artificial I'm afrai) and a few bowls of baubles plus a couple of floral arrangements then several lit cottages on 'snow' material on the coffee table with figures to make a scene.

I know how you feel.I get really angry with myself when I am doing a job that a few years ago I would have done without thinking about but now have to rest and take a break.

Decorating the tree this afternoon, put a few other bits up first. Got halfway through the tree decs and had to sit down for a cuppa. Other years I have kept going until all the decs are finished.
