hi shirley, that is wonerful news.what a great xmas present. i have been through it with my own daughter, different cancer though. but when we got to the 5 year check up in 2008, it was so good to hear you are not in remission anymore. |

Karen is now 4 years down from her last chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has had her latest 6 month check and all still OK. She now only has to have a check in a years time and then ,hopefully, will be declared cured. They check them for 5 years. the same a breast cancer survivors .up to then they are classed as in remission. |
