hi shirley, that is wonerful news.what a great xmas present. i have been through it with my own daughter, different cancer though. but when we got to the 5 year check up in 2008, it was so good to hear you are not in remission anymore.

but the nearer you get to the 5 yr as your daughter is the better chance you have so onward and upward to the next year.

hope you and your family have a super christmas.

take care
florence

I'm very pleased for your Karen and of course for you. I also remember when Karen was diagnosed - I could only imagine how you felt. I'm sure Aunty Jean is smiling and Daff will be thrilled when she hears the news.

Karen is now 4 years down from her last chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has had her latest 6 month check and all still OK. She now only has to have a check in a years time and then ,hopefully, will be declared cured. They check them for 5 years. the same a breast cancer survivors .up to then they are classed as in remission.
Pleased to be able to share this with you, but do miss Auntie Jean who I used to share this with, and of course Daffs who has been very surportive
Shirley.
