I was born on 3 May 1971 and know I was born in Edinburgh and only have my birth families name. I do not want to cause any distress just really need background information for medical purposes. I really don't know where to start. Kind Regards

Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1,383 Send Message	Hi Jason My OH went over 60 years before he found his birth family. His mother died 2 days before his 1st birthday. All he had was his birth cert with his mother's name on. Margaret Drummond who does research re Scotland found his family ( uncles living). You pay an initial fee and if you want her to continue re connection to living relatives you pay an addition. She was brilliant. A GR member recommended her to which we shall always be grateful to She Wray. There is a link to her from Joan Allen's site which I think is my folks. Someone on here will correct me if I am wrong.
