1911 census

Why is it that we now have to pay to view 1911 census...All other census come in with Standard Membership, so why dose not the 1911

At the present time, Find My Past have the sole rights to the 1911 census and are able charge separately for access to the records. The charges go towards funding the not inconsiderable costs they incurred in filming and indexing the records.

You will be pleased to hear however, that other supplies have now been given access and records will be available on sites such as Ancestry next year.

None of the census years come with the Standard Membership.

You get 1841-1901 on the Gold Membership and all of them plus 1911 for Platinum membership.

You also have to pay extra on Findmypast for the 1911 census.

NOTHING is really free!!
you either pay as you go, or take out a subscription.......on FMP.
