Tbh, Janey, other than the koran burning incident I know nothing about this man. For me that is enough that I don't want him, or others of his ilk, whatever their agenda, here. As you say it's a fine line and one I'm glad I don't have to draw.

Freedom of speech means that everybody can call racists and bigots the scum that they are!

It doesn't mean that any country is obliged to grant admission to any foreign national who wants in.

There's a fine line there, as to what justification there would be for denying someone entry based on their speech, but drawing lines is what life is about.

Someone who has actively incited hatred, in such a way that their actions could actually have resulted in threats to their own country's security, might fall outside that line.

(That was an objection voiced in the US -- that this cretin's antics could in fact incite anti-US actions throughout the world. And that was likely a real foreseeable consequence, since his actions would have provided fine fodder for anyone who wanted to incide anti-US sentiment.)

No doubt these morons (the EDL) think all people of the Islamic faith are arabs - well surprise surprise, many Eastern Europeans are Moslem - and white!!! Wasn't that waht the Bosnian war was over?

Although I'm against Halaal meat - ( a prayer means sod all to a dying animal) I don't blame the religion - I blame the industry.
I wonder how often in the past we were all eating Kosher meat (ironically a similar death).

I changed to a christmas name then decided I wasn't in a christmas mood. When I tried to change back they wouldn't let me so came up with ChAoTic which is basically my life atm lol It also has my original name in it.

Tbh I'm not too sure if I want him visiting either but I also believe in freedom of speech, within reason. On balance so long as he isn't inciting hatred I suppose he can't really be stopped, most of the people who will listen to him probably already think the way he does anyway. Of the rest, hopefully most will have the intelligence to make their own minds up or at least be too apathetic to do anything other than to moan to their neighbours or write 'disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' type letters to their local papers.
