After the bad weather last week a lot of people have not cleaned their cars. Over the weekend and again this morning we noticed several cars where the number plate was completely nreadable. If the number plate is that dirty (besides the fact it is an offence) the lights must be dirty too proving a hazard for the driver and other vehicles. |

Yes we had a bottle of water in the car at the weekend and washed our lights off before we travelled back from Milton keynes, for our own benefit as much as anything else. It doesn't take a minute. |

My bottle of water in the car would have been no use at all as it was frozen solid lol. |

What gets me is the amount of idiots who drive with the windows all steamed up and a tiny hole wiped clear that they peer out of. Even my o.h. is lazy about it although he will make sure the windscreen is clear the side windows are often steamed up and so he can't see, he opens the window so I freeze if I don't wipe it for him but doesn't worry about the back and the rear side windows. |

I drove up to Manchester two weeks ago today for grandma sitting duties (weather was ok once I left the snow here) but on my return a week later I was cleaning my mirrors, windows and number plates at Warwick Services having had a 'pit stop' and someone (male) who passed by said 'what a waste of time' got in a filthy car in the next parking space and roared off ........ |

And he'd be the one to cause an acccident because he couldn't see properly when he pulled out to overtake. |

The interior of the widows should be clear if you have an effective heating system.I always carry a small amount of windscreen wash to clean off lights and plates. also its best after driving on salted roads to wash the car bodywork asap .**M**. |
