I have just been doing some research on my tree. I found it odd that the family were all born in Beaulieu Hampshire except for one son, who was born in Cripple Lag. Has anyone heard of Cripple Lag in Hampshire??? |

Well, personally, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Cripple Lag in the New Forest - after all there is 'Sandy Balls' |

Google Bucklers Hard, Wikipedia - gives you all hamlets and towns in Hampshire, lots of queer names but cannot see anything which would fit. |
