We went out shoping to the local farm, about 1.00, for the Christmas meat, whilst we were able to get out, and up the farm track. Mission accomplished, we came to do the M***sons shop. Whislt munching on me bacon butty in the cafaterie, turned to look through the windo, and Oh golly gosh, for want of other expletives. There was the precipitous white stuff. And it has not stopped in the last couple of hours. Weather gel had forecasted it for Saturday, not today. And, if I could see the sky, I would say it is full of it, and it is settling.
Here we jolly well go again.
Enjoy

Please keepit there at least for today as we are out this evening. Unfortunately the pub restaurant we are going to is on the banks of the River Severn, gets pretty 'parky' there.

Oooh Ann, I didn't send it, honest promise.LOL. Be careful.
Nollaig me darlin' always plenty of vino here, for medicinal purposes you understand.
Whilst at the farm shop I managed to get some shin beef and oxtail. I'm making a Suet Pudding with Dark Bitter Ale for Sunday with it, for a change to roast dinner. Whole process takes 10 hours. Only hope it is worth it. LOL
Take care everyone.

AnninGlos Report 16 Dec 2010 16:34

The roads are wet so if it freezes it is not going to be good as we have a small country lane to go down to get to the pub. Wish we had not arranged to go (and we have paid up front) now.

Rain earlier stopped snow from lying here, but today we've been to Allensford nr Conset and there's still very deep snow up there.
The scenery was fantastic, with beautiful fir trees and countryside like a Christmas card.....blooming freezing though!!
