I can never understand a winter bride buying such dresses, or not getting something pretty to wear over them outside. Years ago my friend got married in winter and wore a cloak with a hood, all trimmed in white fluffy 'fur' - it looked lovely and she was able to take it off to show the dress underneath inside the reception, but for the photographs she looked lovely but warm.

Bridesmaids had similar little cloaks too.

That's the problem with off the shoulder dresses - you can't wear your thermals underneath!!!

went to a wedding,today, a wonderful wedding

four bridesmaids and a bride all looked lovely....bare arms and off the shoulder dresses..pity they couldnt keep still.....it was 29 degrees.......they must've been frozzed........I was, and I had extra clobber on!!

I think if she carries on dressing like that in this weather that she wont grow old enough to get chilblains OR bad kidneys...

Sure hope the man in a Kilt had thermal underwear on or HE may get chilblains in some tender places..

Outside our village shop the other day was a young woman dressed in a mini skirt,Tshirt and FLIPFLOPS,with 2 inches of snow on the ground and a chill wind blowing..Said she didnt feel the cold when asked why on earth she was dressed for a summers day !

Came out of the chemist this morning the snow was coming down with flakes the size of pizza's & there was a chap dressed in a kilt walking down the road.
