I have been sent six photo's from a relative in America and wonder how we can identify the people, I have a suspicion they are members of a Man(n)ion family because my grt Uncle and his family went to USA in 1881and his wife Catherine nee Man(n)ion was born St Helens info from census. There are quite a number with this name in records so wondered if a Warrington newspaper maybe my port of call. |

Our local paper runs many a story about unknown photographs of people and places possibly local to the area. I would say getting in touch with a Warrington paper would be a positive move.jle |
