Elisabeth Report 21 Dec 2010 07:21

Morning Liz,

I think it was called "Frozen Britain". I set my recorder for the programme at 7.30, knowing it wasn't going to be what was listed. I have just checked and that is the title coming up at the start of the recording. (Haven't watched it yet.)

Keep safe in this awful weather.

Edit: Just checked on BBC website and it is called "BBC News Special Frozen Britain". Hope you can find it.

Can anyone please tell me the title of the programme about the bad weather that was put on last evening, I set the recorder up to record it as I was busy elsewhere and the recorder didn't work.
I wanted to try and watch it online but can't track it down, I don't have the title but it was a replacement programme about the snow and ice.

The dvd recorder is an old one, we have two, and it has the little sign that shows if timer record is on in such a silly place, it's a tiny little red clock (the size of a match head) on the far right bottom corner of the display screen. So hard to see if it's on or off because of the unit it's in and the small size and I forgot to look and see if the recording was happening because I was busy in the kitchen,
Also had to watch Eastenders on here and missed Jamie Oliver and two of his daughters cooking, will watch that later on line but the second part is on tonight as I had set up all three programmes and forgot to check any were recording. O.h. has manflu (a cold like the one I had a couple of weeks ago) so I am having to do all the prep for Christmas while he sits in his recliner, sneezing and sniffling, hence my distraction.
I can see it's going to be a very jolly Christmas, Not!
