OH buys them up from Ebay and repairs them and sells them on, again on ebay.

Are you aware that any photos, even though your phone is supposedly 'broken' and you can't retrieve them, are retrievable by the person who repairs the phone?

I am sure people think that the photos will never be seen. I am not easily shocked but you would be surprised (or maybe not) what people video with their phones. I have just refused to look at one lot which OH has now completely deleted. Ugh!!!

Thats a timely warning, Ann, as I expect some people will get a new phone for Christmas and discard the old one. Nevr had a mobile phone, dont make that many phone calls and would only want one in the car in case of accidents. That seems expensive to me.

...Not with a lousy mobile phone camera - I've got a trusty 50 year old Pentax K1000 with no memory!
Seriously though, people are so dumb at times. Its not as if his sort of thing has n't come up time and time again in the papers and on TV.
How many people do exactly the same with their old 'puters without dealing with the hard drive properly.

How glad I am to have an ancient 'pay as you go' that makes phone calls and I can text on - no photo's or internet.
Not that I would have taken any 'saucy' photo's - more likely to have been deer and dragonflies!"! LOL
