till i hurt after a few tears that is .....my old lady friend i visit with my dinky dog as hers has died just phoned and said her toaster made all her electric go , her neighbour came and put the DIPSTICK back on instead of trip switch, she was too scared to use her toaster again so she tried toasting the bread on a artificial log flameless fire but nothing happened, so she wanted specky to have a look at her toaster for her the silly billy had poked a fork into the toaster to get the bread, specky showed where the button was to pop her toast all ok now oh i did laugh not at the fork thingy tho xx

That reminds me of Mum-in-law. She rang me to ask if I would bring her a new toaster, as hers was not toasting at all. "The bread was just jumping up when she put the lever down."

When I went to look, without buying a new one, she had wiped around all the items on the surfaces and turned the numbers knob down to '0', from the usual 3 or 4. There was nothing wrong with the toaster - a few pounds saved there!
