Oh Chris, I'm so sorry.
Does this mean you and OH will be cooking the bird and eating it for the next 2 weeks, or will you have an 'unchristmas' Christmas at a later date?

Thank you all - the goose is in freezer luckily so we shall have Christmas dinner when he is able to come home. Ham has to be cooked tomorrow so OH will be doing a run with a big plate of ham and a large jug of homemade ham/veg soup which is probably all he will feel like eating!

Dawnie think you are worse off than me and Sylvia you have hands full, hope little un is OK, that is a worry.

Take care everyone

OH came back from the mercy run so he has everything he fancied or might from the supermarket plus his prescription. He is in the warmth. Seems a teeny bit better now he has had two lots of anitbiotics in him.

Feels strange I have a sick child (regardless of age) and cannot tend him!!!

A couple of years ago I would have had him bundled up into the car and home with me into his bed here. Ah well.

Hopefully the antibiotics will have sorted him out Chris, and I expect he will enjoy having been spoiled with lots of tempting goodies. Worrying for you not to be able to see for youself if he is OK and hope your OH has avoided catching germs and did as they say and washed his hands well when he got in.
