Hello Dizzi :)

Waiting for a loaf to be done in the bread maker, thinking about Christmases past, mostly when I was a child and my mum made the cake on Christmas eve lol, don't much like fruit cake but I still miss the smell of it when I wake up on Christmas day!

I was thinking earlier Dizzi, talking to Dan about how much the 'average' child had spent on them at Christmas... how i was really happy when i got coloured pencils and a colouring book, and a kaleidoscope :)

I never ate mine either lol, just remembered a present I got one year from my brother, it was a blow-up ostrich lolol, shades of pink and orange ...had that for years :) happy days.

I still have my first doll 'Blondie', I can remember unwrapping her when i was little, she had a blue dress and white shoes and seemed huge to me, though she is only about a foot tall, and now that the plastic has aged she has a permanent tan lol

I have a little baby doll which was given to me at Christmas 70 yrs ago, along with a matching black one. The black one disappeared years ago, and the baby doll has still not got any clothes!
