HI BARRY
MY TWIN WAS A STILLBIRTH,A COUPLEOF YEARS AGO I APPLYED FOR THE CERT.
THE DAY BEFORE MY 59th BIRTHDAY THE GRO PHONED ,THEY WERE VERY SORRY BUT NO
REGISTRATION COULD BE FOUND,
THEY HAD MADE A FULL SEARCH,
BUT BENG A HOME BIRTH,ONLY I WAS REGISTERED

"The best way to find stillbirths prior to 1927 is to check burial registers.
Many vicars recorded the burials of stillbirths in the burial register even as far back as the 17th century."

I am very new to this and wondered if stillborn children were recorded in Births and death? If not would there be a record anywhere.
