Jean how true that these days programmes have to have complications and woe, and to be fair life isn't all happy clappy, but Pollyanna was a wonderful film of 'hope' Pollyanna went around giving such a happy outlook on the world.

Jane good for your daughter and you. I saw it with a very young Hayley Mills and have always loved the film (and cried)

I have just sat and watched and mmm cried through Pollyanna again, years after the original. Which I also grinned and cried thro' .

BUT what a wonderful film and oh boy why can't more films give the message of hope.
